When is best to use PDFs vs Excel?

Both PDF and Excel uploads allow AI processing, Excel files are preferred when bills are unreadable or missing

Both PDF and Excel uploads support AI extraction, however, Utility Bills and other primary source documentation is the recommended approach if available. This is required for internal and external audit pruposes.

If your bills are unreadable or missing, use the Tracera Excel template to enter data manually. Otherwise, upload PDF invoices for AI processing.

How to access Tracera’s Excel template:

Navigate to the Resources tab > Select Files > Select Templates Folder > Download the document “ESG Flo Data Upload Template”
